About MeMy name is Chris Trumpour and I am a special education teacher at the Ann Arbor Preschool and Family Center. I earned my bachelor's degree as a Learning Behavior Specialist from Illinois State University. I also hold a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Michigan University. I am currently entering my ninth year of teaching and eighth year with the Ann Arbor Public Schools. Over the course of my teaching career, I have worked with high school, elementary, and preschool-age students with a variety of unique learning and behavioral needs.
I am excited to begin my third year co-teaching with Mr. Jim and Ms. Phyllis. This means I will be supporting students within the general education classroom. I am looking forward to a great school year! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Adam (a high school teacher and basketball coach), my son Alex (1 year old), and our dog, Riley. We love to explore parks, play and watch sports, and take frequent trips to the zoo. |
